1st SaturdayFREE ANTIOCH SUMMER CONCERTS, every Saturday in August from 6-8 PM in Waldie Plaza (downtown Antioch). The concerts are funded by a generous grant from the Lesher Foundation, support from the City of Antioch. Other sponsors include the Contra Costa Times, Give Always to Others (GATO), Clay, Millias & Co., LLP, FastSigns. Seating is not provided. Please bring your own blankets / chairs. Bring a picnic dinner or purchase a tasty entree' from a local restaurant. Support your local business owners.
PACO LogoPACO SUMMER ART SHOW, JULY 31ST - AUGUST 28TH
Pittsburg City Hall Gallery, 65 Civic Ave, Pittsburg, CA. Opening Reception July 31st, from 6-9 PM. Come meet the Artists, enjoy the art, Silent Auction, FREE MUSIC, and FREE Wine Tasting. Awards Presented at 7 PM. The reception and exhibit are free to the public. This is a great opportunity to meet local artists and view the talented works of neighbors, friends, and community members.
Brentwood Arts Society OpeningThe Brentwood Art Society and the Kinsella Theater Group present the summer series, Broadway Under the Stars. Don't miss the last two productions:  Auction Gallery, where famous works of art come to life from August 13th - 29th or  Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor DreamcoatSeptember 10th -26th.
1st SaturdayVolunteer for the Antioch Police Department's 1st Saturday Neighborhood Cleanup, Saturday, August 7th, 9-11 AM. 
Volunteers should report to the parking lot of Chichibu Park located at 3200 Longview Road. The parking lot can be accessed from G Street near the intersection of Acorn Road.  Volunteers will receive instructions and the equipment necessary to accomplish the goal. The targeted area is within walking distance.  
 
Golden FolliesSummer Sizzles for one night only -- Don't miss The Golden Follies, Saturday, August 14th at the Nick Rodriguez Community Center,
213 F Street, downtown Antioch. Tickets are $20, general admission. Ticket price includes "Meet & Greet the Cast" and refreshments.
