The exhibit is not themed. However, consideration should be given to pricing if you would like to market your art for holiday sales.

Artwork is not juried and participation is on a first come, first serve, up to 35 artists.  Each artist may submit up two items.

The prize pool for this exhibit is $525.00: $200 for Best of Show, $150 for 1st Place, $100 for 2nd Place and $75 for 3rd Place.  As the Lynn House Gallery is a community gallery, the artwork is judged by community members on content and emotions it generates. These will be the information provided to the judges:


1.    Good art should appeal to you. It will be skillfully made, most likely by an artist who has created other works in a similar fashion.

2.    The best art has meaning beyond just an image; perhaps it will bring you to tears, make you laugh, or remind you of something you’d almost forgotten. It also stands out in a crowd, and dares to be different.

3.    Good art is understandable, although it may make you think.


Important Dates (at the Lynn House Gallery)

Exhibit dates:
November 18th - December 2nd, 2017
Artist Reception: November 18th, 2-4 PM
Art in: Tuesday, November 14th. 11 AM - noon - Link to artist paperwork, bring with your art
Hanging date: Tuesday, November 14th, noon - until finished (volunteers needed)
Art out: Tuesday, December 5th, 11 AM - noon

Exhibit is open to the first 35 artists. To register send the following information to Diane@Art4Antioch.org.

1. Artist name / Name on Art Tags if different from Artist Name
2. Name of artwork (send a digital copy if you have one for website/promotional purposes Diane@Art4Antioch.org)
3. Medium
4. Sale Price or if Not For Sale (NFS), value

Artists will receive a return email, during normal business hours, confirming registration for the exhibit. Closer to the drop off date you will receive an email confirming the date/time of the drop off, along with an artist agreement to complete and bring with you.

Please label your artwork by taping a piece of paper with the following information: Artist Name, Price for Sale (or NFS (not for sale) if you are not interested in selling your work) medium and the title of the piece. This makes placing the labels for the exhibit much easier.  ACFA has the right to determine if artworks are not a good fit for the exhibit.

Art work size cannot exceed 30 x 40 per piece or a retail value of $1,500.  Hanging work must have wire across the back. Work must be original and cannot have been shown at the Lynn House Gallery or Celebration of Art Exhibit during the past two years.
