The Arts & Cultural
Foundation of Antioch is proud to present the Metal Works Exhibit
at the Lynn House Gallery in Antioch, California.
The artist reception will be held on Saturday, July 15 from 4 to 6 pm,
and the exhibit continues through August 12th, Thursdays, Fridays and
Saturdays, from 1-4 PM.
Samuel
Gill of
Brentwood is a self taught artist. He has over thirty years experience
as a career welder. Upon retirement he returned to his love of art. He
stated out doing mostly western style art and garden sculpture. His
work is constantly growing in sophistication and inventiveness. Gill
has exhibited widely in the local area; among the places he has
exhibited at are the Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek, the Tech Center
Gallery in Brentwood, and the Lynn House Gallery in Antioch.
Mike Kendall of Benicia has had numerous group and so
lo
exhibitions in the Bay area. He is the recipient of a number of
prestigious honors, among them:

The Lynn House gallery is
located at 809 W. 1st Street in Antioch (across from the Amtrak Train
Station) and is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, during exhibits
from 12 noon - 5 PM. Admission is free.
