Pleasant Hill artist,
Tony Vecchio works in oil and collage. His recent Jazz themed series
will be on display May 17th - June 7, 2008 at the Lynn House Gallery.
Artist Statement:
Jazz is a musical freedom of expression which connects phrasing,
tempos, harmony, rhythm, voicing, and tones in experimental and
abstract ways which touch the heart and soul of listeners. My art
follows
similar improvisation, as I connect different surface
structures and textures, printed and hand drawn words, found images,
and multiple color moods in expressing the various emotions and messages
of my work.
Enjoy the different sounds I have assembled.
